SPRING BREAK JAM#1
Contest Dates: The contest begins 2/22/2010 and ends 3/19/2010
Who may enter: The contest is open to legal U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older as of 2/22/10, except the following classes of persons are ineligible to participate:
a) Residents of New York, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico and all US territories and possessions
b) Employees, officers and directors (including immediate family members and members
of the same household) of WUIL FM, Purdue, Complete Nutrition or other
related sponsors, American Hole ‘n One, their respective affiliate companies, subsidiaries,
and promotions agencies, and any and all other companies associated with this contest.
How to enter: There is no purchase necessary to enter or participate in the contest. Contestants may enter by visiting the web site WWW.1079JAMZ.FM, clicking the box to participate in the Spring Break Jam contest, and following the contest instructions. This contest is being conducted by Pendleton Broadcasting.
To enter the contest, contestants will be required to submit their name, street address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, and their own valid email address. All entries are the property of PENDLETON Broadcasting.
For information regarding the use of this information please consult the PENDLETON Broadcasting Privacy Policy. Contestants will be required to submit their name, street address, city, state, and zip code, in an attempt to match the winning street address, city, state, and zip code.
In order to win the grand prize a contestant’s eligible entry must be one of the entries actually received, and their entry must match the predetermined street address, city, state, and zip code selected. Incomplete entries, any entry that is not actually received by the contest hosting site for any reason, entries submitted using an invalid address, or any entry submitted by a contestant not using their own valid address will be disqualified and eliminated from the contest. Each entry submitted must include a street address, city, state, and zip code. Any entry that does not include street address, city, state,
and zip code, or any entry whose submitted street address, city, state, and zip code can not be determined due to computer malfunction or for any other reason will be void.
Contestants may submit a maximum of one entry per valid address throughout the duration of the contest. Any additional entries submitted using the same address will be void. A valid address shall be any street address, city, state, and zip code registered in the name of the submitting contestant, or any address that the contestant resides.. All other entries are ineligible regardless of the accuracy of their street address, city, state, and zip code.
Contest Requirements: The street address, city, state, and zip code submitted by the contestant and received by the contest host site must match exactly with the predetermined winning street address, city, state, and zip code on file with American Hole ‘n One for this contest in order to claim the grand prize. Eligible entries must be successfully received from the web contest page by 5:59pm EDT on 1/18/09. PENDLETON BROADCASTING and related sponsors are not responsible for any transmission errors, lost or misdirected contest entries, undelivered contest entries, web-site or email failures, computer malfunctions, or difficulties with internet connection or email transmission that prevents an entry from being submitted or received, or that prevent the street address, city, state, and zip code submitted on any contest entry from being determined. Only the first (15000) valid entries actually received prior to the conclusion of the contest deadline, and that contain a street address, city, state, and zip code are eligible for the contest. By participating, contestants agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and the official contest rules. If the winner is found in violation of these rules, he/she may be required to forfeit his/her prize. PENDLETON Broadcasting reserves the right to refuse awarding the grand prize to any person or contestant who is determined to have violated the official contest rules, gained unfair advantage in participating in the contest or obtained a winning contest entry using fraudulent means. This contest is void where prohibited. Sunshine Broadcasting may amend these rules at any time and reserve the right to discontinue the contest, the taking of
additional entries or the participation by any particular station, market or sponsor.
Any equipment, computer or programming malfunctions, or any failure of internet service that prevents the conducting of this contest, or that prevents the street address, city, state, and zip code on any eligible entry from being determined by contest sponsor will void this contest. Additionally, if the predetermined winning street address, city, state, and zip code is released or revealed in any manner to any contestant or potential contest prior to the conclusion of this contest, then this contest is void and no grand prize will be awarded.
If there is no winning entry submitted, the grand prize will not be awarded. In the event of multiple winning entries, the grand prize award will be evenly split among eligible winning contestants.
Prizes: A maximum of (1) grand prize will be awarded. The grand prize for matching the street address, city, state, and zip code to the predetermined winning street address, city, state, and zip code is 2 TICKETS The grand prize winner will be solely responsible for all taxes and other related costs, and must provide a valid Social Security number and completed W-9 form prior to the prize being awarded. The grand prize is nontransferable. The first payment will be awarded within approximately two weeks of verification of meeting the contest requirements. As a grand prize winner, contestant acknowledges that PENDLETON BROADCASTING has the right to publicize your name, photograph and the fact that you are the grand
prize winner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees to release and hold harmless PENDLETON BROADCASTING, their parent, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies and their respective directors, officers,
employees representatives, agents and the participating sponsors from any and all liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to person, including death, and property, arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, participation in any contest activity, or participation in this contest.
Claiming Prizes: All contest winners who have submitted an eligible grand prize winning entry will be notified on or before 3/19/010. Failure to collect the prize within 60 days of winner notification constitutes forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited, the prize will remain the property of PENDLETON Broadcasting and will not be awarded. Another winner will not be selected. All taxes are the responsibility of winner, and winner must supply a valid social security card and complete a W-9 form before grand prize will be awarded. An affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release form must be signed and returned within 14 days of notification prior to prize being awarded. (Tennesseeresidents need not sign publicity release form.) F

PENDLETON BROADCASTING GENERAL CONTEST RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
Note: These rules cover daily contests for Radio Stations WUIL-FM (the “Station”). These rules may be superseded by separate specific rules for major contests conducted by the Station or its sponsors.
1. HOW TO ENTER THE CONTEST:
a. The contest or promotion (the “Contest”) will take place during the dates and times specified in the official rules of the Contest. The Station may change the dates and/or terms of the Contest without prior notice. Any material changes will be broadcast on the Station and/or posted on their website.
b. To be eligible to enter, listeners must follow the instructions set forth in the rules of the Contest and must fulfill all of the eligibility requirements of the Contest.
2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
a. Unless otherwise specified, the Contest is open to all listeners of the Station who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in the greater Central Illinois area. Employees of the Station, their licensee, corporate parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Champaign, IL area and the members of their immediate families and or households are ineligible to participate or win.
b. Winners must waive any and all claims of liability against Stations WUIL-FM PENDLETON BROADCASTING and its affiliates and respective employees and agents for any personal injury or loss which may occur from participation in this contest or from the use of the prize. If a prize winner is proven by Sunshine Broadcasting to give mis-information about their identity, then the listener is hereby ineligible to become a winner for two calendar years from the date information is proven on WUIL-FM.
c. Only one winner per household or per address may win a contest every sixty (30) days on each Pendleton Broadcasting radio station. Or sixty (60) days if the value of the prize is equal to or greater than $75!Only one winner per household or address is permitted in any Contest. You may only win in your own name. A household includes any persons living at or using the same address.
d. By winning a prize valued at $600.00 or more, you become ineligible for a calendar year, from the date of winning, to win any prize on WUIL-FM. If a winner wins over $600.00 in cumulative prizes through one calendar year the winner may receive a 1099 Tax Form.
**Contest rules may change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
3. PRIZES:
a. Contest prizes and values will be indicated in the rules of the Contest.
b. Unless otherwise indicated in the rules of the Contest, all prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of 1079 JAMZ. Prizes may be claimed during regular business hours (between 9:00am and 5:30pm, Monday through Friday). Winner(s) will be required to present valid government-issued photo identification and provide their address, phone number, and Social Security number to claim a prize. Unless otherwise permitted by the Station, winners must claim their prizes in person, and prizes cannot be claimed by third parties on behalf of winners. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in the forfeiture of the prize. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within fifteen (15) days of winning. No alternate winner will be selected and the prize will become the property of Sunshine Broadcasting. If a prize or prize certificate is not available at the time that the winner arrives at the studio location to claim the prize, the Station, solely at their discretion, may opt to mail the prize to the winner. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. Pendleton Broadcasting is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.
c. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Contest sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed in the rules of the Contest and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
4. SELECTION OF WINNERS:
a. Decisions of the Station’ management with respect to the contest are final.
b. Winners will be selected and notified of their prize in the manner described in the rules of the Contest.
5. CONDITIONS:
a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.
b. By participating in the Contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material related to this contest, without further compensation, and (where permitted by law) to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize.
c. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in their sole discretion may require Contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, their corporate licensee, their parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the Contest.
d. The Station are not responsible for (i) show cancellations, lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete or late entries; (ii) telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, facsimile transmission errors, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call or entering the contest.
e. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, a prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserve the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.
f. Failure to comply with the rules of the Contest may result in a contestant’s disqualification and/or forfeiture of any prize or prizes. If the Station make a good faith determination that a listener has cheated or committed fraudulent activity in connection with a Contest, the Station reserve the right to disqualify that listener from entering and/or winning future Contests.
g. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
h. Due to the time delay that exists between the station’s over the air signal and the station’s online streaming, listeners who listen to the station's online signal may hear the cue to call later then listeners listening to the station’s analog over the air signal. As a result, the odds of a digital or online listener becoming a contestant are diminished.
